Periodically, Lendwithcare may run “bonus” campaigns which reward Lendwithcare users for their activity on the Lendwithcare website. When active, these campaigns will reward users completing a "qualifying action" or purchasing any "qualifying item" at a "qualifying amount", with a bonus.
Bonuses are likely to vary between campaigns and may include bonus credit to be used for the purpose of making a loan, bonus credit to be used for the purpose of making a grant or bonus gift vouchers.
Bonus values will vary between campaigns.
Bonuses do not have any cash value and cannot be withdrawn.
Bonuses cannot be transferred between accounts.
Only one bonus can be claimed per Lendwithcare account per bonus campaign.
If a Lendwithcare user has been issued with a bonus, the bonus can only be used for its express purpose. For example, a bonus loan can only be used for the purpose of lending and cannot be used for any other purpose on the Lendwithcare website.
If a Lendwithcare user has been issued with a bonus, they will receive a separate confirmation email when the bonus has been issued to their account. This will happen immediately after a qualifying action has been completed or a qualifying item at a qualifying amount has been successfully purchased.
For Lendwithcare users to claim a bonus, there must be a bonus campaign live. Each bonus campaign will run for a specified time period or will end when the allotted pot of funding to cover bonuses is empty. For example, the Christmas Bonus campaign introduced in December 2024 will run until 5pm on 24th December 2024 or when the £10,000 pot is empty.
The funding sources to provide bonuses to lenders will vary between campaigns but is likely to be secured from Lendwithcare’s corporate supporters.
To claim a bonus, Lendwithcare users will need to purchase a qualifying item at a qualifying amount. For example, to claim a bonus loan during the Christmas Bonus campaign introduced in December 2024, a gift voucher purchase of a minimum of £50 must be made.
All bonuses expire six months after the date at which they are issued. Any expired bonuses or unused portion thereof will be automatically converted into donations to CARE.
In the event of a gift voucher being the qualifying item required to be issued with a bonus, Lendwithcare users cannot purchase a gift voucher with the intention of redeeming it themselves. Any gift voucher purchases in which the recipient email matches that of the Lendwithcare user purchasing the voucher will be precluded from any bonuses which would otherwise be issued.
In the event of bonus loans being issued to Lendwithcare users, funding can only be used once for the purposes of lending. As repayments are made, the funds will be automatically converted into donations to CARE.
