As loans will ultimately be repaid to you, unfortunately it is not possible to claim Gift Aid on any loans made to low-income entrepreneurs through Lendwithcare as they are not considered to be ‘donations’ under HMRC Gift Aid rules.
However, if you have agreed to our Gift Aid Declaration in your account settings, there are several instances where Gift Aid can be claimed. Gift Aid will apply to any donations made via the Lendwithcare website, including top up donations, any regular direct debits, donations to CARE's emergency and wider poverty fighting work, and any grants made through Lendwithcare. Gift Aid will also apply if you choose to auto donate your repayments.
Gift Aid will not apply to any funds retained by Lendwithcare on dormant accounts or expired gift vouchers.
