Could you be a Lendwithcare Ambassador?
Lendwithcare is only able to reach low-income entrepreneurs in some of the world's poorest countries with the support of our fantastic lending community. Word of mouth has proven again and again to be one of the best ways to generate new support for Lendwithcare. We are lucky to have a dedicated network of Lendwithcare Ambassadors across the UK. This is a group of passionate Lendwithcare supporters who share their positive lending experience with Rotary Clubs, at schools and a range of other community groups to inspire new lenders to join the Lendwithcare community.
As a Lendwithcare Ambassador you would:
- Give talks to a variety of community groups about Lendwithcare
- Introduce people to the concept of microfinance and Lendwithcare
- Inspire groups to raise funds to support low-income entrepreneurs through Lendwithcare
- Send any donations collected at talks to Lendwithcare
- Liaise with Lendwithcare about any opportunities for fundraising or future talks
- Keep up to date on Lendwithcare's key messages, resources and latest updates through quarterly Ambassador newsletters
- Liaise with other Lendwithcare Ambassadors in your local area
What makes a good Ambassador?
- A passion for Lendwithcare's work and making a difference through microfinance
- A can-do approach to generating new speaking opportunities
- The confidence to speak to a range of community groups, from Rotarians to church groups and occasionally schools
- A basic level of IT literacy to delivery presentations in-person and online through Microsoft PowerPoint
- An interest in microfinance and international development
- An interest in fundraising and volunteering

Please note that Lendwithcare Ambassadors will need to sign CARE's Code of Conduct and undergo a DBS check.
