Why am I asked for a voluntary top up donation when making a grant?

Just like a Lendwithcare loan, Lendwithcare does not take a proportion of anything you choose to give to a grant (other than to cover exchange rate fluctuations and bank charges).

We ask for a voluntary top-up donation when you make a grant because donations are crucial for us to facilitate this and other projects, and continue growing Lendwithcare to support more individuals in a wider variety of low-income countries across the globe.

Although we suggest 15% of your grant amount, all top-up donations are on a voluntary basis and Lendwithcare supporters are welcome to adjust their top-up donation amount. This can be done by selecting another value from the drop-down list in the basket.
