Esperanza is a hard-working female farmer. She grows avocados and also runs a small grocery shop which meets the needs of her local customers. Esperanza sells her avocados in her store and to merchants, managing to generate additional income for her household. With her loan, she was able to invest in her land and harvest a healthy crop, as well as begin to plant beans to diversify her income.
