María is 58 and, alongside her husband, has been working for four decades in animal husbandry. Through her business, she educated her children and covered the expenses at home. With her loan, Maria was able to increase the number of animals on her farm, strengthen her business and improve her income. Currently, María continues with her business breeding pigs, and also has guinea pigs and morochillo crops in her smallholding.
