Mercy, aged 38, is a dedicated mother of four children. She runs a small business selling tomatoes, firewood, and potatoes. She joined the Microloan Foundation - Lendwithcare's local partner - in 2022, and with her most recent loan of MK100,000 (£40), she was able to purchase potatoes and tomatoes to sell in her village.
Through her hard work, Mercy repaid the loan in full. The profits from her business have supported her household needs, including food and groceries. Her earnings have also allowed her to pay school fees and buy uniforms for her children, while ensuring she can grow crops without difficulty.
Mercy is proud of her accomplishments so far and remains optimistic about the future. She looks forward to continuing with the loans, expanding her business, and further improving her family’s life.
