Yaun is a local farmer from Buriram Province who has transformed hope into reality through integrated agriculture. Her story is one of quiet strength and unwavering perseverance, with a heart full of hope and a desire to create a better future for her family, especially her mute son, who helps her with everything. To further improve her life and farming business, Yaun made a life-changing decision to apply for a loan in order to pursue her dream of running a cattle farm. She started with just one breeding cow, but with clear vision, she set her aim on expanding the herd to meet the growing market demand for calves. The loan she received in June 2025 was put to maximum use by purchasing an additional quality breeding cow, a hay press machine, straw bales, and, most importantly, building a sturdy shed to ensure comfortable conditions for all her cattle.
Eventually, she was able to reap what she sowed in her cattle farming. The cow she purchased with the loan has since given birth to its first calf, marking the beginning of a growing and sustainable herd. While her income from occasional labour is modest, around £47 per month, the encouragement and daily support she receives from her son, both at home and on the farm, give her the strength to keep going.
