Ampai is a talented weaver who has been running a traditional silk-weaving business since she was young. She currently lives with and cares for her 90 year-old father. Last April, she took out a loan from Lendwithcare to support her business which she used to purchase silk supplies, including silk threads, colour dyes, and essential weaving tools.
Since receiving the loan, Ampai's silk business has improved, as she is now able to produce enough products to meet customer demand. The profits she earns have also increased due to the quality and design of the silk-woven products she now sells.
Ampai is deeply grateful for the funds she received from Lendwithcare and all our lenders. She shared her heartfelt message, saying: “Thank you so much for providing me with the loan so I could invest in my weaving business. I’m glad that I can continue working from home, doing what I love and earning money, while also taking care of my father. I’ll do my best to continue working and growing my business.”
