Kazimasika 3 Group is a determined group of small-scale entrepreneurs based in Rumphi, Malawi. The group consists of married members who are collectively caring for eight children while running different businesses such as vegetable selling, grocery trading, and livestock farming. By working together, the group members are focused on growing their businesses and building better opportunities for their families.

Monica is a 40 year old married entrepreneur and mother of five children who has been running a vegetable selling business for the past five years. She started this business as a way of supporting her family and meeting everyday household needs. Over the years, she has gained experience and built a loyal customer base within her community.

Through this loan, Monica plans to buy more stock for her business, which she believes will help increase her profits and move her closer to achieving her long-term dream of buying cows and expanding her sources of income.

The group loan will be shared among members of Kazimasika 3 Group to strengthen their different business activities. Some members will use the funds to restock vegetables for resale, others will purchase grocery items to meet customer demand, while those involved in livestock activities will invest in growing and improving their animal businesses. As the members continue supporting one another, the loan will help the entire group move forward in improving their businesses and supporting their households.

The Microloan Foundation, Lendwithcare's local partner in Malawi employs a unique 'centre' model for lending to female entrepreneurs. A centre comprises several sub-groups which share the same name as the centre. As such, you may have seen similarly named group loans from Malawi all belonging to the same centre. In this system, each woman is individually responsible for repaying her loan, but the group offers mutual support by assuming overall responsibility together.
