Lien, a 37-year-old entrepreneur and mother of four, serves as a cornerstone of the community in Hai Ha, a coastal commune within the Nghi Son town of Thanh Hoa province.

In a region where the socio-economic landscape is predominantly shaped by the maritime industry, she has successfully established a reputable breakfast café that has been in operation for over eight years. While her husband manages the demands of a large household, Lien oversees every aspect of her business, providing traditional breakfast staples such as phở and bún to a loyal and growing local clientele.

Her enterprise is built on a foundation of meticulous preparation and culinary craftsmanship, qualities that have made her establishment a preferred destination for residents. However, despite a steady increase in customer volume, the business has reached a critical operational bottleneck due to a shortage of working capital, which has hindered her ability to scale her inventory. To address this, Lien has applied for a strategic loan from Lendwithcare's local partner, Thanh Hoa MFI, to facilitate the bulk procurement of essential ingredients. This capital injection will be utilised to purchase an extensive inventory, including: 3,700 kg of rice noodles; 200 kg of premium beef; 300 kg of marrow bones for broth preparation.

By ensuring a consistent supply of these key commodities for the upcoming business cycle, Lien aims to optimise her service capacity and significantly enhance her monthly turnover. This proactive investment not only secures the future of her popular café but also provides a more stable and prosperous economic foundation for her school-aged children and her entire household.
