Oñondivemi is a group of hardworking and entrepreneurial women who participate in the poverty elimination programme. The members joined together with the shared goal of improving their quality of life, strengthening their businesses and progressing through mutual support. They work responsibly within the women’s committee programme and strive to invest in their economic activities to achieve greater stability.
Petrona Mariela is a member of Oñondivemi. She runs a small business from her home, selling groceries and homemade meals. In the photo, she is the woman standing next to the group, wearing a light-colored patterned blouse. She started her business to contribute to household expenses and support her family.
Petrona Mariela will use her portion of this group loan to purchase essential items, such as bread, oil, eggs, flour, sugar and drinks. With this investment, she will be able to maintain and expand her food sales and move closer to her goal of having a comfortable space where she can serve her customers.
