Dung

Dung is 43 and lives with her husband and one school-aged child in Tho Phu Commune, Trieu Son district. For the past eight years, she and her husband have been dedicated to collecting recyclable waste from local households, sorting it, and delivering it to nearby recycling factories

Although the work is often carried out in polluted environments, Dung remains committed and hardworking, driven by the desire to improve her family’s income and contribute to a cleaner community.

Thanks to a previous microfinance loan cycle, her family’s recycling business was able to expand its operations and increase the volume of waste collected, playing a meaningful role in local environmental efforts. To continue growing, Dung has applied for a loan from Lendwithcare's local development partner in Vietnam, Thanh Hoa MFI.

Dung plans to purchase and process around 27 tons of packaging waste. Looking ahead, she hopes for a healthy, happy family and a more prosperous business, with enough savings to secure their future.
