The La Esperanza committee was founded by five women in the city of Guarambaré, and has now increased to 13 members who have all started their own entrepreneurial ventures.
Now in its 8th cycle within the Women Entrepreneurs Program, the group works tirelessly to manage their businesses, meet their financial commitments on time, and maintain a strong credit rating.
One of the members is Sofia, who plays a key role in supporting the committee’s goals by collaborating with her peers and ensuring timely payments. She is married with children, and runs a cosmetics business.
Her dream is to build a small shop in front of her house so she can display her products in an inviting space where customers can browse comfortably and try out her offerings.
Sofia plans to invest her portion of this loan in the construction of her shop and also purchase a wider variety of cosmetics, including foundation, blush, perfumes, lipsticks, and creams. This investment will help to attract more customers, increase her income, and improve her family’s living conditions.
The other group members will invest their shares of the loan to grow their individual businesses.
Sofia’s commitment to her business and her group exemplifies the spirit of La Esperanza as they work together to achieve their goals through perseverance and mutual support.
