Tinh is 44 years old and married, with three children, all of whom are still in education. She lives with her family in a suburban commune of Thanh Hoa city.
Tinh runs a small grocery store, while her husband works as a manual labourer in the village. In her store, Tinh sells essential items such as food and household appliances to local customers. However, due to competition, many other successful grocery stores in the village have to invest heavily in their businesses to capture a larger market share.
As a small grocery store owner, Tinh faces challenges as she does not have sufficient working capital to invest in her store. She decided to request this loan to increase her stock, including items such as cakes, biscuits, oil, milk, and candy, to attract more customers and improve her sales and profits.
This is Tinh’s third loan cycle with THMFI, Lendwithcare's local partner in Vietnam. She used her previous loans to buy groceries, which helped improve her sales and cover her family’s day-to-day living costs. With this loan, Tinh aims to expand her inventory and further boost her business.
