Hoat

Mrs. Hoat is 62 years old. She lives in a small coastal region in Thanh Hoa province. She has faced numerous challenges and responsibilities since her husband passed away several years ago, leaving her to raise their four children single-handedly. She became the sole breadwinner for her family, taking on various jobs to provide for her children.

Every morning, before the sun rises, Mrs. Hoat sets up her food stall in the busy market. Serving delicious Vietnamese breakfast such as sticky rice, bread etc to the people in her community and the breakfast has become her specialty.

However, Mrs. Hoat's entrepreneurial spirit doesn't stop at selling food. She also raises pigs, chickens, and grows her own vegetables to supplement her income. Recognizing the potential in the livestock market, she decided to take a loan to expand her pig farming venture. With the borrowed capital, she will purchase five more piglets and invest in 500kg of better quality feed, ensuring healthier and more profitable livestock. She plans to sell the piglets after five months of raising them to the middlemen. She will reinvest the profits to her business and her farm.
