Suai

Suai is 58 years old and married. She lives in the countryside area of Buriram province, Thailand. She lives with her husband, an adult child, and three grandchildren aged 16, 11, and 5, all attending school. Typically, her family makes their primary income through farming, additionally, she farms crickets for sale.

In the village where Suai lives, raising crickets is a common occupation. She started the business about ten years ago after saving up enough to launch her small cricket farm. The business has helped her to earn sufficient income to support her family.

The number of her customers has risen, and she has received more orders than usual. Generally, she raises crickets in a closed area built separately next to her house. She feeds them with vegetables and special feed to maintain a high quality. In order to raise more crickets, she needs to add more containers and buy additional supplies. Hence, she is looking for a loan that she will use to invest in her cricket farm. This will allow her to produce sufficient products to fulfill all her customers' needs as well as increase sales, leading to more income.
