Mrs. Van is 52 years old, married and has 3 children. Two of her children are independent and one is going to school. She lives with her family in Hai Binh ward, a coastal area of Nghi Son town, Thanh Hoa province.
Mrs. Van’s husband is a fisherman, he fishes near the shore. His work is totally dependent on the weather. She works at a seafood processing factory in the town. In addition, she also sells seafood to earn extra income for her family. She uses her bicycle to carry seafood to the local market.
During this fishing season, she wants to expand her seafood business, but she doesn't have enough capital to invest. She is therefore, requesting her 6th to buy more fish to sell in the markets. She has been a reputable customer of Thanh Hoa MFI. The previous loans helped her business improve and she got more income.
