Ms. Thuy is 58 years old and widow. She has two children who are independent. She has over 20 years farming experiences. She lives in Nong Cong District, a rural region of Thanh Hoa province.
Ms. Thuy has a small farm, she cultivates two crops of paddy rice each year, raises cattle and poultry for food and sale. Her farming business is doing well because of the good weather and her experience. The income from the farm is just enough for her living expenses. In order to improve the income and have a better life, she applied for her first loan cycle from Thanh Hoa MFI to buy some calves, she will look after the calves until they are ready to be sold on the market for good profits.
