Mrs. Thuy is 48 years old and married The couple has four children. Two of the children are working and the younger two are studying. One in college and one is in grade ten. She lives with her family in Quang Xuong district, a coastal region of Thanh Hoa province. This region often suffers from storms and floods.
Mrs. Thuy is a hard working woman. She has been running her small grocery store for over ten years. Apart from her grocery store she grows vegetables and raises chicken, ducks for her family's consumption. Her farm produce reduces the living cost.
Mrs. Thuy works very hard to make enough money to cover her children’s education costs and provide food for her family. She is doing everything she can to support her children school fees and other costs so that they can have good jobs after they complete their higher education. She is short of capital to buy school supplies and pay their tuition fees for her children. Mrs. Thuy visited our local partner Thanh Hoa MFI and requested for her 10th loan cycle for buying school supplies and paying the tuition fees for her children in college and high school.
