Uzma Shahzadi is a seamstress. She is 27 years old and divorced with two daughters and one son. She lives in Kasur. All three of her children are studying. After her divorce, she along with her kids came back to her parents’ house. She is living with them but managing her household expenses by working as a seamstress. She sews bed sheets which she sells later to shopkeepers of Kasur Market. She buys fabric and then sews bed sheets. Nevertheless, she still struggles financially to cover the household expenses as she only earns 8,000 rupees per month. She requested a loan in order to purchase fabric in more lengths. She hopes she could then sew more bed sheets and earn better.
