Gado Adida is about to finish repaying her loan. She thinks it has helped her significantly. In fact, during a recent visit she confessed that although the loan was intended primarily to help her develop her charcoal business, because she generated quite a lot of profit, she decided to start another new business; specifically the preparation of food mainly rice and beans. She serves this to businessmen, students and other passers by. This extra income has enabled her to meet the educational expenses of her children at the start of the new school year, as well as extra health expenditure she has incurred recently. She now runs two businesses.
