Antoine received a loan last year and he has already repaid it. We visited him recently and he told us that his restaurant is doing really well and that business is growing; he made a profit of 240,000 FCFA last year (about £240); he also told us that the loan has improved many aspects of his life and that he had achieved many things for her family. Antoine is the senior brother in his family and he was able to enroll his junior brother in a carpentry school as he had desired for a long time. He has also fully paid the school fees of his two children and is ready to face eventual health charges. Before taking the loan, Antoine had one employee he has now recruited a second employee. Antoine expects to continue growing his business.
