Rehana Bibi revived her yarn extraction business through loan support.

Rehana Bibi is a resident of Kasur, where she lives with her husband and kids. She has been working as a yarn extractor, for the past many years. Her job involves acquiring old sweaters from thrift shops, factory outlets, and production plants to extract yarns. After extracting the yarns, she sells them to buyers and shops.

Rehana Bibi secured a loan from Akhuwat to revive her struggling small business. Her husband, a daily wage labourer, found it hard to meet household expenses on his own. A neighbour told her about Lendwithcare's local partner, Akhuwat's loan programme, and she applied for a loan. With the loan, she invested in her business and expanded her yarn extraction business. Through her venture, Rehana meets household needs, reinvests in her business and sends her kids to a reputable school. She recently bought a rickshaw for her husband with their combined savings; he's now earning well with it.

Rehana Bibi is deeply thankful to Akhuwat Foundation and lenders for their crucial support, which helped her overcome challenging times and stabilise her business, ensuring a brighter future for her family.
