Catherine is delighted to share the progress she has made with her business selling Irish potatoes and tomatoes. With her loan share of MK100,000 (about £40), she was able to buy six 50kg bags of Irish potatoes, giving her enough stock to expand her stall and better meet customer demand.
Her business performed strongly, and she successfully repaid the loan in full and on time. The increased profits also enabled her to support her husband’s farming activities, helping to strengthen the family’s overall income and build greater financial security.
The additional income has made a real difference at home. Catherine has been able to purchase essential household items such as kitchen utensils, basins, plates, and bedding. Most importantly, she can now afford school fees and uniforms for her children, ensuring they have what they need for their education.
Reflecting on her journey, Catherine shares that she is proud of how far she has come. Being able to set short‑term goals—and achieve them—has given her a newfound sense of confidence and hope, something she felt was out of reach before receiving the loan. She remains deeply grateful to all Lendwithcare lenders for supporting her family’s progress.
