Lufina, aged 42, lives in Ntcheu district and is one of the courageous women making up Lendwithcare's local development partner – Mweziukawala 1 Credit Group. She used her share of the loan to purchase farming products such as fertiliser to improve the quality of her Irish potato crops and she chickens for poultry production. Her farming business was able to produce a significant increase in Irish potatoes, and her revenue increased, and she has fully repaid the loan.
The capital for her farming business has enabled Lufina to make some improvements to her business. She has managed to pay school fees for her children, and she feels encouraged by the improvements that have happened in her life.
