update Chenda Nhous

Even though Chenda is a young farmer he has a strong commitment to his business. He decided to ask for a microloan in order to buy a hand tractor to help with operations on his farm. Having this tractor has been really helpful for him since he was able to farm on time and reduce his expenditure. Chenda has already completed farming three hectares of his land and only needed to spend a period of three days to complete the ploughing. Now his rice has been planted but for the past two months there has not been very much rain. The crops that he has chosen to grow can be sold for around $250 per tonne. As he has free time before he needs to harvest the rice crops, Chenda spends his time growing vegetables such as Chinese cabbage and cucumbers which provide another source of income for his family (the photograph shows his wife Nalim with their tractor).
