As we pass the halfway point of the year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on everything we've achieved together so far in 2026.
Whether you've made a loan, funded a grant, donated to support Lendwithcare, or continued to follow the journeys of entrepreneurs around the world while waiting for repayments to come back, you've helped make some incredible things possible.
100,000 lenders and counting!
As of this month, more than 100,000 incredible people have signed up to Lendwithcare to support entrepreneurs around the world.
When Lendwithcare first launched, reaching a community of this size felt like an ambitious goal. Today, thanks to people like you, we've built a global community!

Supporting the people of Venezuela in times of crisis
Just two weeks ago, devastating earthquakes struck northern Venezuela, leaving thousands of families without homes, clean water or access to basic essentials.
I was incredibly proud to see the Lendwithcare community responding so quickly and generously. Together, you've already helped raise over £100,000 to support people affected by the disaster. Thank you.
Thank you for supporting our Annual Appeal
Another highlight of the year has been our Annual Appeal. Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we reached our target, raising just over £60,000!
From supporting our Microfinance Advisors and partner visits, to exploring new ideas and strengthening the long-term impact of Lendwithcare, this funding helps make it all possible, so thank you.
Growing Lendwithcare’s environmental work
We've also been excited to share more about Lendwithcare's environmental work this year.
From supporting Green Inclusive Finance training with partners to testing more sustainable farming practices in Cambodia and Vietnam, we're continuing to learn how we can better support entrepreneurs in a changing climate. I look forward to sharing more updates on this work in the months ahead.

Your impact so far in 2026
And thanks to your lending and support, the impact created during the first six months of the year has been nothing short of remarkable:
- £3.7 million raised in loan funding for entrepreneurs
- 8,843 entrepreneurs supported
- 27,313 family members reached
- 73% of entrepreneurs funded were women
- £48,723 distributed through grants
- 990 received a solar cooker or climate positive cookstove
Every one of these numbers represents people working hard to build stronger businesses, support their families, and create opportunities within their communities.
