Edna

Edna is a 39-year-old mother and entrepreneur who works hard alongside her husband to support their three children. They prepare and cook various dishes, accept orders, and display their food for sale early every morning. One of their children is already working and helping support the other two siblings, who are still in college and high school. The family is based in the province of Cebu.

Edna and her husband, Alemar, have been running their business for seven years. They work together in preparing and cooking various dishes, waking up early to ensure that their food is ready for sale in the early morning. They display their dishes for sale until 8:00, as most of their customers are students and employees who regularly purchase food before starting their day. They prepare up to ten varieties of dishes to cater to their customers' preferences.

Aside from selling cooked dishes daily, they also accept orders for various occasions, including sweets and desserts such as fruit salad, brownies, biko (sticky rice cake), and many offer many other options, depending on their customers' requests. They offer both pick-up and delivery services to accommodate their clients' needs.

Edna and Alemar need a tricycle to make restocking their supplies more convenient and efficient. They also plan to use it as an additional source of income, as Alemar can transport passengers after helping with their cooking and other business activities.

Edna applied for another loan from Lendwithcare's partner institution, LAMAC. Edna and Alemar sincerely hope that the loan will help improve their business operations, increase their income, and create more opportunities for their family's financial stability and future growth.
