Corazon

Corazon, 63, is married to Teodoro, and they have one son who is already married. They live in the northern part of Cebu. Her husband is also her business partner, and they manage their business together.

Corazon started her sari-sari store in 1988. During that time, her husband was still working, and he supported her while she was starting the business until he retired. Through their efforts, she was also able to support and raise their child, who is now married. She began with a small capital of around £6, which was already a significant amount at that time. Over the years, she worked hard and gradually expanded her livelihood. She later diversified her business by adding a printing, scanning, and computer shop with around eight computer units.

After the pandemic, her income declined as many new vendors entered the market and customers became more distributed. However, Corazon remained hopeful and continued to serve her loyal customers, who still support her business today. She is now happy and determined to continue growing her livelihood. Corazon decided to apply for a loan from Lendwithcare to add capital to her sari-sari store and restock goods, with the goal of improving and expanding her business once again.
