Vengie is a mother of two sons who attend high school and elementary school. Her husband, Teodoro, runs their spit-roasted pork business, while she manages their grocery store. Their family resides in the province of Cebu, and both are entrepreneurs working together to achieve their family goals for their children's future.
Vengie and her husband’s spit-roasted pork business is still thriving. They started the business five years ago, accepting orders from various towns and barangays and offering free delivery to customers. During peak seasons such as fiestas, weddings, birthdays, Christmas, and New Year, they expand their team by hiring up to eight additional employees, including four butchers, three delivery boys, and an all-around housekeeper.
Teodoro sources pigs from farmers in neighbouring towns. Vengie and Teodoro are deeply committed to growing their business and providing for their family. Because of this, Vengie has applied for another loan from Lendwithcare's partner, LAMAC, to purchase more pigs to meet the increasing demand for spit-roasts, especially during the fiesta season and is expected to continue in the coming months with higher orders. Part of the loan will also be used to purchase additional grocery products to sell. She intends to repay the loan over twelve months, hoping for continued business growth.
