Eva Corazon is 39 years old, married, and has four children who are currently studying at different levels. The family resides in Hagbuyo, San Miguel, Bohol.
Eva Corazon has been raising pigs since 2017. Farming and pig raising serve as their main source of income and livelihood. Her husband works as an on-call carpenter, but their combined income is not enough to support the needs and school allowances of their four children. She also practices Takakura composting, where pig waste and other biodegradable materials are processed into organic fertiliser, which she uses in her cassava and eggplant garden at home.
As a member of Lendwithcare's local development partner, FCCT Cooperative, Eva has requested a loan to expand her small piggery by purchasing piglets, feeds, and vitamins for hog fattening. She hopes to expand her piggery and increase her income so she can better support her family’s daily needs and provide for her children’s education up to college.
