Jean D’Amour is a 26 year-old young entrepreneur who lives with his parents and is currently single. After completing high school, as many youth struggled to find employment or working capital to start business, Jean D’Amour decided to start his own business selling clothes with the small savings he had but with an ambition to become a wholesaler, because in his village they struggle to travel too long into the big cities to find clothes to resell on retail.
For the past four years after COVID-19, Jean D’Amour has run a small clothing retail business, offering a variety of garments for men, women, and children. Through dedication and hard work, he has built a loyal customer base and is pleased with the growing demand for his products.
To expand his business, Jean D’Amour has applied for a loan to purchase in bulk new stock, including trousers, shirts, jackets, and accessories such as belts. He hopes this investment will allow him to achieve his dream of becoming a wholesaler and meet his customer demand, as well as increase his profits, and save for the future. His long-term goal is to open other business branches and create job opportunities for other young people who are facing unemployment. Currently he will hire two people to support him.
