Leonardo (43) is a farmer who works in potato and carrot production. He is single and lives in the family home with his parents. Leonardo began working in agriculture 10 years ago, an activity he learned from a young age. He learned from his parents how to prepare the land, make furrows, and sow seeds.
With his extensive experience, Leonardo strengthened his business, building a productive farm and employing seventeen people on his three-hectare plot. He works on preparing the land, sowing the seeds, weeding and fertilising the crops, and finally harvesting each product. Every year, he achieves a successful harvest, collecting 100 sacks of potatoes and 50 sacks of carrots. All of his produce is sold in local markets in the city.
Now, Leonardo applied for a loan that will be used to fertilise his crops. He will use the loan to purchase agricultural supplies, fertiliser, and on wages for the agricultural production.
