Jeannette

Jeannette is a 34 year old married woman with two children who both attend the local school. She runs her own shop which started by both selling and renting wedding outfits and has expanded into decorating venues.

Jeannette started her shop over five years ago selling and renting bridal and groom clothes, but more recently the scope of business has expanded to include decorating traditional and religious wedding venues. Her customer base is primarily in her own village and the surrounding area but she also sees opportunities to expand into other villages at an appropriate time in the future.

Jeanette is still focussed on expanding the business with all profits being ploughed back into future growth, so the income from each wedding when the bride is dressed and the wedding venues are decorated gets re-invested into the business.

These profits are used for buying decoration materials, along with paying her employees and also paying taxes. She currently employs one worker and would like to expand and employ another.

With the holiday season approaching it is a time when there are most weddings and other celebrations. Jeanette applied for this loan in order to buy more materials. She already has many orders for wedding gowns along with wedding venues to decorate and this loan will enable her to meet the increasing demand.
