Jamila is 45 years old and married, living with her husband and their three children in the West Bank. She has worked in agriculture for around 15 years, specialising in grape cultivation and the production of basil seedlings. Jamila manages the project together with her husband and has built up strong experience in these farming activities.
She has applied for a loan to improve and expand her agricultural project. The loan will be used to purchase several essential inputs, including:
- Plastic covering for greenhouses: £1,600
- Irrigation network: £800
- Basil seedlings: £1,200
- Water tank: £800
- Spraying equipment: £800
- Wood materials: £400
Jamila’s agricultural project currently generates a net income of around £1,200 per month. The loan will help her strengthen and grow her business, enabling her to increase production and improve her household income. The loan is repayable over 24 months.
