Visilito

Visilito is 64 years old and married to Narcsia. They are blessed with two children. One has already graduated from college, and the other is in Year 7 at school. Their family lives in the province of Cebu. Visilito worked as an Overseas Filipino Worker for 28 years and has now returned home to focus on his business.

Visilito worked abroad for 28 years, while his wife established and managed a business. Their first sari-sari convenience store was located in her hometown and was later relocated. By that time, their children were already attending college. Upon his return, Visilito and his wife jointly managed the business. She started with a small amount of capital, which gradually increased as she expanded the store by adding more items.

The shop offers school supplies, a water vending machine, and a peso Wi-Fi service. They also sell soft drinks, footwear, and other daily necessities to their neighbours. When Visilito saw that the store was progressing well, he decided to open a printing station, which he entrusted to one of his children to manage. The printing station is located beside the sari-sari store. While Visilito and his wife oversee the main store, their child manages the printing station.

Visilito is proud to share that he has been a member of Lendwithcare's local partner, LAMAC, for eight years. He has previously taken out loans there, which have greatly helped their business. He decided to apply for a new loan to add more capital to their sari-sari store. The funds will be used to fully stock the store and further grow the business.
