Ma. Alma is 60 years old, married and has two sons and two daughters who have already finished their studies and have their own business and work. The family resides in Negros Occidental, Philippines.

Ma. Alma was a farmer, raising 5 to 10 heads of swine for fattening but has had to stop due to a local government law prohibiting the raising of swine within the city. Then, Ma. Alma decided to venture into printing services business to help her husband, a contractor foreman, to raise their family. This printing business includes tarpaulin, lanyards, shirts, mugs and identification card printing. Her four children assist and help her run the business, and it generates a profit of approximately £634 per month.

As a member of Lendwithcare's local development partner, FCCT Cooperative, Ma. Alma has requested a loan to purchase an additional printing machine to print sublimation shirts and to purchase additional stocks of lanyards, tarpaulin, sintra boards and other materials for printing.

This kind of business helps Ma. Alma to provide the basic needs of her family and she dreams of one day to purchase a vacant lot in order to build a building of her own for her printing services business instead of paying a building rental per month and for the expansion of her business to earn more for the sustainable future of her family and to employ more people in the community.
