Lilia Magaly

Lilia is an agricultural entrepreneur dedicated to the production of organic coffee. She lives with her partner, who works as a school teacher, and is the mother of six children, several of whom are currently studying at university or secondary school. From an early age, Lilia turned to coffee farming as a way to generate income and support her family. Through persistence and experience, she has built a recognised organic coffee activity and actively participates in local and provincial fairs.

Lilia manages an organic coffee microenterprise that generates an average monthly income of approximately £797. Her production expenses, including maintenance and inputs, are around £246 per month, resulting in an estimated monthly profit of £551. In addition to farming, she earns supplementary income from occasional day labour. While her business is stable, plant diseases such as coffee rust limit productivity and reduce her ability to expand without additional investment.

Lilia has applied for a loan to fund the cleaning and maintenance of the coffee plantation and to purchase young cattle for fattening, helping diversify income, protect crops from disease and strengthen the sustainability of Lilia’s agricultural activities.
