Ahmad, aged 26, is married and lives with his wife and young child in a home they own in Zubeidat. He runs an agricultural project specialising in palm cultivation, which he has managed for the past five years. Ahmad has a total of ten years of experience in farming, having gained his skills through working with his family. He currently operates the project independently and earns an average monthly net income of around £1,200.
Ahmad has now requested a loan to develop and expand his palm-growing project. He plans to invest approximately £1,200 in a new irrigation network and £2,800 in purchasing 35 palm seedlings.
This investment will help Ahmad:
• improve irrigation efficiency
• expand the number of productive palm trees
• increase his future harvest and overall income
• ensure his family land remains productive for the long term
Ahmad hopes that by strengthening his project, he will be able to better support his family and cover their household expenses. The loan will be repaid over 24 months.
