CAF Lève Toi Et Brille is a group of 15 women entrepreneurs based near Lomé, with an average age of 37. Together, they support 31 dependent children, 19 of whom are in school. The women run a variety of small businesses, selling food products, biscuits, pagnes, shoes, bags, towels, and ready-cooked meals. They are united by a shared goal: to grow their businesses and improve their families’ futures.
Rosaline, 45, is married to a pastor and has three children. She has been selling biscuits and essential groceries—like rice, oil, sugar, and spaghetti—at the market for four years. Before accessing microcredit, she often relied on credit to stock her stall, which made her business unstable. Her first loan helped her build stock, attract more customers, and increase her income.
Now, Rosaline dreams of opening a proper shop in the market with organized shelves and a wider product range. She plans to reinvest her profits, support her family, and save for the future.
This new group loan will allow CAF Lève Toi Et Brille members to buy goods in bulk, avoid stock shortages, meet growing customer demand, and boost their household incomes.
