Cristian Patricio is a farmer who lives in the Pueblo Nuevo neighbourhood, located in the city of Bolívar, in the north of Ecuador. Cristian, 35 years old, is single and lives with his parents. From a young age, Cristian helped his parents take care of the crops and harvests. These experiences inspired him to work on his own garden.
For the past 10 years, Cristian has been dedicated to his farm, where he grows onions and beans on two hectares of land. With years of agricultural experience, he has consistently harvested high-quality products year after year. Thanks to his hard work, Cristian harvests 480 quintals of onions and 150 sacks of fresh beans annually.
Cristian has requested a loan to continue improving the production of his garden. He plans to use approximately £347 to purchase eight sacks of fertiliser and £355 to buy ten sacks of necessary agricultural supplies for his crops. Additionally, he will allocate £166 to hire sixteen people to work on the fields.
