These products are highly demanded in local markets, with a sack of dried beans selling for $50 (£47.08), a box of avocados for $14 (£13.18), and a sack of corn for $25 (£23.54).
To increase and improve production in her orchard, Paulina has requested a loan of $1000 (£942), to be repaid in 12 months with 2 semi-annual payments. She plans to invest $520 (£489.42) in purchasing organic fertilisers, $220 (£207.11) in acquiring agricultural inputs for soil nourishment, and allocate $260 (£244.77) to hiring local individuals to assist with fertilisation and crop care.
