Nudeuen

Nudeuen is a 54-year-old single mother who lives in a remote area of Surin province with her parents, an older sibling, and 20 years old child. Her family generally farms jasmine rice for sale and offers labourer services to make a living. Furthermore, she runs a restaurant as a side occupation.

Aside from working in rice farming, Nudeuen opened a small restaurant near her house, selling noodle soups, fried meatballs, and sausages, and one of her famous fried foods is fried dumplings stuffed with quail eggs served with homemade sweet chilli sauce. She has been running this business for about ten years now. In the past, she worked at a restaurant, where she obtained good culinary skills and now uses them to earn a livelihood. Her restaurant is also located close to the street, assisting her in gaining passers-by customers. She works hard and hopes to provide enough income to support her family and improve their living.

In her restaurant, she still uses the old way of cooking by using a charcoal stove, which sometimes causes her difficulties cooking. During this time, Nudeuen would like to improve her shop as it will allow her to offer customers better services and cook more various food. Moreover, she intends to add tables and chairs at her shop for eat-in services. This business is important to her, and she will continue working to generate income for her family and wishes to transform this shop into a proper restaurant one day.
