Mr. Jundil is 33 years old, he previously worked as a welder abroad. Three years ago, he decided not to go back to his workplace and stayed home with his wife Sheila and their four-year-old son. To earn income, the couple decided to operate a shop where they sell animal feeds, vitamins, and supplies.
Mr. Jundil and his wife has been operating a shop for three years. In their shop they sell animal feeds, vitamins, and normal day-to-day basic groceries such as rice, corn, cold drinks, ice cream, etc. Mr. Jundil received his first loan from Lendwithcare in May last year and used the loan to restock his shop with all the items he sells. The investment helped his sales to go up and it also helped him to cater to the demands of the villagers.
This time, Jundil is requesting a new loan for a different reason, at present, he has one sow and ten piglets to feed. He has two pigpens and he puts five piglets in each pigsty to give them more space to roam around. He will look after the piglets for the next three to four months and then sell them to meat stall owners in the market for 200 pesos (£2.97) per kilo. He will use the new loan to buy the correct growing quality feeds to ensure that each pig will weigh according to the required market weight. Jundil hopes that both businesses will continue to grow even more so they can provide a better quality of life to their son. He promises to repay the loan in six months and in one lump-sum repayment. See the repayment schedule below for more details.
