Mary Grace

Mary Grace is 36 years old and runs a progressive general merchandise store. Her husband Sergio Jr manages the store as a partner with her. The couple sells various food products, animal feeds, household items, and many more items. The couple has two children, the eldest attends grade 10 and the youngest is 2 years old.

Mary Grace and Sergio Jr manage have been running their progressive general merchandise store since 2016. Their store is found beside their house and they have been renting the land for more than twelve years now. They have been selling a wide variety of food products, animal feeds, household items, school supplies, cosmetics, slippers, ready-to-wear clothes, 5 gallons of drinking water bottles, and many more items. She buys her products from shopping malls and wholesale stores in the market. She offers her products in both cash and credit, because some of her customers are construction workers and company workers. Mary Grace does not hire any workers because she and her husband can manage the business themselves. Her sales went up after she availed of two previous loans from Lendwithcare. Because of the loan, she was able to increase the number of stocks available in her store and buy more items needed by the villagers. Her daily sales range between 5,000 to 10,000 pesos (£73.89 to £ 147.70).

Mary Grace is requesting another loan from MFI Lamac and promises to repay in six months. She will use the loan money mainly to restock her store with the necessary items she sells every day. There is an increase in demand for the products she sells because after the holiday season it is business as usual. Mary Grace is happy with the growth of her business for the increased profits helps a lot in providing a better way of living for their family.
