Samar is 23 years old. She lives with her husband in a neighborhood in Jenin City.
To earn an income, Samar sells clothes and cosmetics through an online page she created on Facebook. She started up her small business one year ago and she estimates her monthly income is around 350 USD. She uploads pictures of her products to her Facebook page, adds a discription for each one on the page and then she ships the items to the buyer through a delivery company. Samar is requesting a loan to buy her winter clothes collection and some cosmetics in bulk. Buying in bulk enables her to get a discount price from the wholesaler and therefore increase her profit margins. She intends to repay the loan in monthly instalments over 27 months.
