Muhammad Rashid runs a gent’s salon/barbershop and earns approximately £86 a month. He has run this salon for the last 4 years. He wishes to provide a better standard of living for his family, but his income is barely sufficient to meet his current household expenses; with his current limited income, it is rather difficult for him to save money because all his income goes towards the basic household expenses. He requested this loan from Akhuwat, Lendwithcare's microfinance partner, to buy a hairdryer machine, shaving cream, a mirror, a chair, facial massage creams and other products he uses in his salon.
