Elsa Doraly

Elsa Doraly is 24 years old and is a nursing and pharmacy technician. She is single, has no children, and lives with her mother in a rustic house (made of mudbrick and sticks), located in the district of Huamachuco, province of Sánchez Carrión, department of La Libertad, in the northern highlands of Peru.

Elsa Doraly is an entrepreneur, she is charismatic, honest and responsible woman. During the pandemic she noticed an entrepreneurial opportunity, and decided to open a small pharmacy in her town. Elsa was able to start this business thanks to the experience she has from being a pharmacy technician. She was involved in selling medicines in pharmacies. For about a year, Elsa has been running a pharmacy, which is located in a central area of ​​the city of Huamachuco. Elsa attends her business from 07:00 am until approximately 20:00 pm, her main clients are her friends, relatives and neighbours in the area. Her monthly sales are approximately S/3,500 soles (£740.36) with a profit margin of 35% after paying for the cost of medicines, purchase of materials, and payment of taxes. Elsa's sales are made in cash, or through bank transfers, Yape or Plin (digital payment apps).

Elsa requests this loan to buy medicines and bazaar items, such as: perfumes, watches, powders, baby clothes, and other gift items. She is confident that the loan will help her business to grow and thus increase her clients. With the profits obtained, she hopes to better support herself and her mother, and provide a better quality of life.
