Clarita

Clarita was first funded by Lendwithcare in July last year. She had successfully repaid her loan and is now asking for a second loan. She is married to Tomas who works as a pipe fitter. They have three sons all going to school: 4th-year college, grade 11, and grade 6. Clarita said, thankfully her house was not damaged by the recent Typhoon Rai (Odette) that hit the Philippines on 16th of December 2021.

To support her husband in dealing with their living expenses, Clarita has been operating a sundry store business for about six years now. It is a retail store that carries a wide variety of goods, including groceries. Her fast-selling items are bread, cold and hot drinks, hygienic products, rice, vegetables, and more. She needs to travel riding a motorcycle to reach her store. She is paying a monthly rent of 1,000 pesos (£14.37) in the same store for more than 2 years now. She does not hire workers for her children are helping in running the business especially if she is off to the market to purchase stocks to sell. Her daily sales are more than 1,500 pesos (£21.56) and earn higher sales on weekends for it is repayment of store debts. She allows credit to workers who work in construction sites near where she operates her business. She receives payment weekly.

Clarita is asking for her second loan to Lendwithcare for the same purpose. She needs additional working capital to purchase her regular items to sell every day so her customers will keep returning to her store. Her income in the business definitely helped in dealing with their living expenses and the schooling of their children. She will repay the loan in a short period of three months.
